Let's take a united stand. Let's stand outside on the sidewalks of our homes. Lets all go out and stand at the same time FRIDAY JUNE 19th, 2020 @ 6:40...for at least 8 minutes and 46 seconds.
WHY?
To stand in solidarity in our communities (while social distancing) to protest racial injustice in this country.
...to stand against racism

...to stand against tyranny
...to stand for Black Lives
...to stand for all humanity
"BEHOLD HOW GOOD AND HOW PLEASANT IT IS FOR BRETHREN TO DWELL TOGETHER IN UNITY" - Psalms 133:1
WHY June 19th, 6:40pm, 8 minutes and 46 seconds?
June 19th represents the day, where the last slaves were emancipated in Galveston, Texas...2 and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed by President Lincoln. This day is known as "Juneteenth".
6:40pm (18:00pm approximate military time) - represents the Year 1865 in which the year which slaves were finally liberated.

8 minutes and 46 seconds - is the time that George Floyd had a knee pressed on his neck killing him.
HOW?
- Take your family outside to the sidewalk
- Make signs, and hold up signs calling for justice. (Black Lives Matter, United We Stand, Enough is Enough, etc.)
- No "All Lives Matter" signs. This statement is insensitive to the injustices that we have been seeing against African-Americans. All Lives don't matter, unless Black Lives Matter. "Black Lives Matter" is a statement of total truth.
- Take pictures and Go Live on Social Media
- Dialogue with neighbors about the injustices and the impact of racism. (social distanced)
- Cook-Out and enjoy friends, neighbors, and family.
- Keep fighting until racism is destroyed.
- Don't change the conversation.
Cameras may not see you...
but your children will...
your neighbors will...
the WORLD will...
Let's stand together.
